About the Author:
Kristin Lewis Haight wears many hats, from mother and genealogist to Executive Director of the Kennebunkport Historical Society and adjunct instructor in technical communications at the Landing School of Boat Building and Design. Now she has added one more: children’s book author.

Released in June 2022, I Like Maine Days: A Beach Day Bedtime Story, is Haight’s first children’s book. While the author has had ideas for books for children “bouncing around in her head for years,” she was never inspired to write one. That changed in the spring of 2022, when she learned she was to become a grandmother. Her second book, Where Do They Sleep?: A Bedtime Story was released in November 2022.
